Steam Pit is a new character released alongside Skylanders: Fusion Squad. He is a new core Skylander of the Fire element.

Biography[]
Steam Pit was once a simple steam machine used in one of the most luxurious spas in all Skylands. Although it had turned out that the machine was wired with Arkeyan technology, causing him to suddenly spring to life one day and unintentionally scare away the spa's customers. The owner of the spa threw Steam Pit into a nearby junkyard, where Steam Pit lived until he met the Skylander Sprocket, who had been looking for spare parts. Sprocket decided to take Steam Pit with her and convinced Master Eon to bring him on board the Skylanders.

- Steam Pit is one of seven characters that are fully robotic, the others being Drill Sergeant, Bouncer, Magna Charge, Wind-Up, Live Wire, and Weather Breaker.
- Steam Pit and Weather Breaker are the only robots who are not of the Tech element.
